Aretha Franklin wore an atrocious hat and sang "My Country 'Tis of Thee" at the inauguration ceremony today. Sure, it was an emotional song choice and was totally symbolic and all that, but facts are facts, and she did not sound good.

my fave was when Aretha took a breath between the first and second syllables of country, so it came out sounding like "My CUNT.....tree.... tis... of....thee............"
